Superwoman: the woman who makes her dreams a reality... the woman who conquers it all ... she balances her day-job, her successful business, her marriage, her children, her personal life & her household to-dos, all while wearing hot pink heels & never breaking a sweat. Sounds fabulous, right? But what about reality? We like to tell ourselves that the women who "make it" are women just like that... but, friends, that's not the case. Making dreams a reality doesn't look picture perfect and it doesn't happen overnight, but it CAN happen!! I'm sharing my personal story with you about building a business while working full-time, about conquering big fears & overcoming "I don't think so's" and "I'm not worth it's". We'll talk about hard work, dedication ... and a sprinkle of fairy dust when the going gets tough.

Hi, friend!!! I'm Kat; lover of pink, believer of sweethearts. I'm the boss lady behind Dear Sweetheart Events, where I specialize in playful details, classic moments & peony-filled bouquets. I'm also the founder of the Creative at Heart Conference and believe wholeheartedly in building community among big dreamers & small biz owners! 

I'm a newlywed to my high school sweetheart, the mama to a crazy brittany spaniel, a believer, an educator and I use way too many exclamation points when I write (!!!)! When I'm not planning, hosting my #ontheroadtofulltime e-course or designing pretty flowers, you can find me eating some of my husband's delicious cookin', decorating our old, historic Virginia home, or relaxing with a Friends marathon. I'm blessed by all God is doing with my business, and want to always remember that it's for HIS Glory, not mine.
